Alexa Ray Joel

Alexa Ray is an American actress who is a songwriter, musician, and singer. The daughter of the singers Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley. Joel is an New York native who has followed in her parents' passion of fashion and music. She created her own musical group at the age of 19, and performed in public first time in Hoboken, New Jersey. She became an overnight sensation within a matter of a couple of years. Joel's first extended-play Sketches was released in 2006. It was a solid foundation in her career following the release of her EP with the help of Audio Bee. Over the past few years she's had a few songs released and performed in numerous live events. Joel was first active in the fashion industry when she was just a little girl. She's performed as an artist at a variety of fashion shows. Her BELLA Beauty issue in 2018 featured her on its cover. The magazine reported that she was taken in a hospital on December 2009 after inhaling the excessive amount of Traumeel. In the aftermath of her full recovery she said she had no intention to cause harm to herself.
